OS: Windows 8 ISO File. Steamaccount to buy GTA 5 PC. I know this was posted 2 years ago, but if anyone can reply, i'll greatly appreciate it. My mac bootcamp can run gta 5 fine but the problem is that within minutes of starting gta 5, my mac gets extremly hot. I dont know the exact temperatures, but i'm wondering if this could affect my mac Get a cooling stand. Thanks for the quick reply. However, after watching some clips, I NEED THIS IS MY LIFE. I only have a Mac desktop because, like I said; not a PC gamer. So I was wondering if anyone knows if it's at all possible to run GTA V (even at extreme lowest settings) using Boot Camp. Any answer would be really appreciated, thanks! Bootcamp is the way to go if you like gaming and want to use a Mac. IMacs are fairly powerful but big bottleneck with them is the large 4K/5K screen so running games in full resolution can be demanding. Lowering the resolution gives usually a huge fps boost. My old iMac runs GTA V around 50-60 fps in full resolution and on high settings.

Boot up in Mac, spotlight boot camp assistant and check 'Download Latest Windows Support Software from Apple'

Select the desired location or save it to your flash drive. After download is completed, boot up in windows and in the flash drive, open setup.exe (setup64.exe in case you installed 64bit version)
It will take few minutes to install all the drivers, and after a restart, try running the game, it should work pretty well!
